This week I made these super awesome cinnamon rolls.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Next time I won't expect to eat them before lunch or get up super early to make them.

It took way longer then I expected.

I can now see why they are so expensive when you buy them at Cinnabon.

They where a BIG hit with hubby and Ashley.

I've managed to redo 4 of the 6 sections I did wrong on my knitted blanket project.

The green section I just finished with seems like it took forever.

Maybe longer.

But it was the biggest piece. 

So hopefully the next 2 will go a bit faster.

Then I can started on the rest of the pieces.

I guess I shouldn't be in such a rush.

It's suppose to be fun and relaxing right?

But darn it I want to see the finished results.

Oh and buy more yarn...

Blanket Start Over...

I've taken up knitting after reading a post over on Kellie's blog Give a Girl a Blog.

The Blanket Attempt

Thought I would give it a try.

It can't be that hard right?

Anyways I managed to do 5 sections of the blanket and couldn't figure out why it was curling up at the edges.

So went back to the Martha Stewart post 

to see what in the h*** I was dong wrong and if anyone else had problems.

Yes I'm an idiot and don't know how to read directions.

I was doing the stockinette stitch instead of the garter stitch.

In all my excitement and research I must have confused the stitch I was suppose to use.

Well at this point I thought about giving up and starting a whole new project,

but no I said I would finish this one before starting a new one.

So onward I go.
Yes I feel like a ding dong, but I will prevail!!
